Visiting the Shop

There is one step up into the building at the front door.
There is also an accessible ramp entrance in the rear.
Use either entrance.

There is a bus stop immediately outside our shop served by buses 131/132 and within a block by buses 136/137.
SDM is on the south side of Main St, between Grove Street and Faulkner Place.

From The South

93 North

• Exit 24 (used to be Exit 33) Rt 28 Fellsway West Winchester
• Stay right following  North 28 Fellsway West
• Right on Elm St
• At rotary, take 2nd exit onto Woodland Rd.
• 1.2 mile, take a right on Pond St
• At light continue straight on W. Wyoming Ave
• Left on Main St Melrose.
• SDM is on your left immediately after the light

Rt 1 North

• Essex St Melrose Exit. 
• Continue right onto Essex St
• Essex St becomes Upham Street in Melrose
• Left on Main St Melrose
• SDM on right after next set of lights

From The North

93 South

• Exit 26 (used to be exit 35) (Park St Stoneham Melrose)
• Left onto Fallon Rd
• Right onto N. Border Rd. (28 south)
• South Street becomes Pond St
• Continue past Stone Zoo on your right.
• First left after the Zoo (also Pond St)
• Straight through light onto West Wyoming Ave
• Left onto Main St Melrose
• SDM on Left immediately after the next light

Rt 1 South (Broadway)

• “Lynn Fells Pkwy Melrose Stoneham” Exit
• Left onto Main St Melrose
• SDM on your right after 4 sets of lights

Parking

Parking on Main St varies from 30 minutes to 2 hours
Parking in the municipal lots behind the buildings has a 3 hour limit
