Google Photos is a powerful and free tool for people who have Google accounts. By creating an album, anyone can then share an album in Google Photos with almost anyone. These directions use the Chrome browser on a Windows desktop, but the general directions are applicable for most other devices.
- Go to photos.google.com and click on “Go to Google Photos”
- Sign in with your Google account, you may already be signed in if you are using your personal computer
- In the top right of the screen, choose “Create”, and then “Album”
- Select all of the photos that you want to add to the album by clicking on them, you can tell if they are selected by looking for the blue check mark in the top left of every photo
- Once you have selected all of the photos that you want to add, click create in the top right
- From here you can name your album by clicking on the “Untitled” box, or remove photos you no longer want by clicking the “X” in the top left of every picture
- After you have given it a name and are ready to create your album, click the white check mark in the top left of the screen
- To share an album in Google Photos, click the share icon in the top right
- From here you can either type the email address(es) (or name(s) if you have saved their information) of who you would like to send it to, or choose to share it on Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, or through a link
