When you busy at work on your computer, wouldn’t it be useful to be able to text someone right from there? You can, and this is how to view iPhone messages on a Mac.
On your Mac, open up Messages and then choose Preferences in the Messages drop-down box at the top. Then go to Accounts and under your Apple ID make sure that “Enable this account” is selected.
Next go into settings on your iPhone, and scroll down to Messages
Then scroll down and click “Send & Receive”
Then choose “Use your Apple ID for iMessage”
Then sign in with your Apple ID, and you are all done. It will not retroactively show messages on your Mac, but any new messages will appear.
