Sometimes an error in a program can cause it to become unresponsive, and you will not be able to interact with it, or close it. The best way to deal with programs like this is to force quit them. Read on to learn how.
Windows
Hold down Shift and Control and then press Escape, this will open the task manager. From here you can select the program and click “End task”, which will close the program.
Mac OS
Hold down Option and Control, and then press Escape, this will open the “Force quit applications” window. From here you can select the unresponsive program and click “Force quit”, which will close the program.
