The award consist of funds to be used for educational purposes only. The award is not a cash prize. Students and their families share in the decision as to how the award funds will be disbursed according to a student’s educational need.
This would include but not be limited to the purchase of a computer, tuition, tutoring, taking a class, or escrow for college expenses upon graduation from high school. The number of recipients and amount of the awards will be determined by the Education Committee based on available funds. Any portion of the award that has not been used within one year of the date awarded, will revert to the Foundation.
In addition to the award, this scholarship may also include mentoring opportunities as decided by the Education Committee.
